Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how QuickRetail LLC ("QuickRetail," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the QuickRetail service (the "Service").
QuickRetail plays two roles. For information about the businesses that subscribe and the individuals who create accounts, we act on our own behalf. For the employee, customer, and sales information that a subscribing business puts into the Service, the business is the controller of that information and QuickRetail processes it on the business's behalf under our Terms of Service and Data Processing Addendum. If you are an employee or customer of a business that uses QuickRetail, please direct questions about that business's data practices to the business.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, phone number, and role, provided when an account is created.
- Authentication information — a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text) and session information needed to keep you signed in.
- Usage and device information — pages viewed, actions taken, approximate device and browser type, and log data such as IP address, used to operate and secure the Service.
- Location information at clock-in/out — when your employer uses the time clock, a location (GPS) stamp may be recorded with a punch to support accurate timekeeping. This is provided to your employer.
- Business data processed on behalf of a subscriber — employee records, time entries, schedules, tasks, and customer and sales information imported from a connected POS or entered into the Service.
How we use information
We use information to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service; to authenticate users and prevent misuse; to communicate about the Service; and to comply with law. We use business data processed on behalf of a subscriber only to provide the Service to that subscriber and as their instructions and our agreements permit.
How information is shared
- Service providers — vendors that host our infrastructure, send transactional email, and provide similar services, under confidentiality obligations.
- Connected services — systems you choose to connect, such as your POS, to move your data into the Service.
- Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Business data processed on behalf of a subscriber is retained according to the subscriber's instructions and our agreements; after termination it may be exported for a reasonable period and then deleted.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to address issues promptly.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and your relationship with the business using QuickRetail, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. For business data processed on behalf of a subscriber, we will refer your request to that business. To make a request about information we control, contact us at privacy@quickretail.com.
Children
The Service is intended for use by businesses and their personnel and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Policy. If we make a material change, we will present the updated Policy for acknowledgment the next time you sign in, or otherwise provide reasonable notice.
